This project features the WTS1025 mobile trommel screen, custom-designed to meet the specific requirements of a client looking to efficiently process compost. This compact yet powerful model features a drum diameter of 1000 mm and a length of 2500 mm, delivering reliable screening performance.
To ensure a smooth and consistent operation, the hopper is equipped with an internal belt conveyor that evenly transports the raw compost directly into the rotating drum screen.
The screen mesh is constructed from durable, high-manganese braided wire. While the standard aperture is designed at 20mm, it can be fully customized to suit varying material needs. The undersized, fine compost passes through the screen and is discharged via a foldable side conveyor connected to the bottom. Meanwhile, the oversized material exits through the tail of the drum onto a dedicated discharge conveyor.
For maximum site flexibility, the side conveyor can be easily folded and stowed away to save space when not in use. The front of the unit features a traction hitch, allowing it to be swiftly relocated using a trailer or forklift. Additionally, the integrated frequency conversion control cabinet provides operators with convenient and precise control over the entire screening process.
To prevent clogging and maintain peak efficiency, the trommel is equipped with a premium cleaning brush. Manufactured using advanced flocking technology and highly wear-resistant nylon, it effectively continuously cleans the screen mesh during operation.
